The reverse turning kick utilises balance and speed to deliver a seriously powerful blow to an opponent.

Basic principles of performing a reverse turning kick

  1. Facing the target from a forward but slightly side on position
  2. Start by spinning on the lead leg
  3. Lift your back leg into a chambered position
  4. Ensure to get your head over your shoulders to see where you are kicking
  5. Extend the leg out straight as you spin round and connect your heel with the target.
